Creating a Vision for the Future
The VSEPS Education Fund, a 501-C-3 charitable public foundation, was created in 20214 to:
- Increase public awareness that eye disease and blindness can be reduced through prevention, and early detection and treatment;
- Advance the study, research, practice and understanding of ophthalmic medicine and surgery;
- Provide educational opportunities for those engaged in the practice of ophthalmic care and prevention;
- Promote scholarship, research and education in ophthalmic prevention, medical care and surgical treatments; and,
- Encourage individuals to pursue additional education, training and careers in ophthalmology.
